This shot that you are able too see would be whats known as a close up because it is fixed on the two actors faces which you can see at the moment they are showing happiness with their emotions they are expressing, the angle that has  been chosen is eye level this is so that you can relate too the people on screen, and should make you involved more in the film.

These two shots have been chosen for this particular scene is because they want you to see how effective the scene is because these have been chosen, and that because they are smiling maybe something good has happened, which is ironic too the film because the film is generally in a sad setting, but because of this it shows that you are able too relate to the film as you will feel like you are actually there.
